The Second day of marš mira!! I just slept for 3 hours, because it was uncomfortable for me in the tent. I could not sleep at all, I walked around. It was 6:00am. Some people already departed, but my friends still slept well, maybe because of "party" :D
Everybody woke up at around 7:00am and washed teeth and face and got ready for march! Already sunshine glared on the ground. I put sun block on my body and we went! We took a great photo, but I just announce, because of privacy problems :)
You will guess that beautiful nature make me relaxed, but in fact, my food was so hurt. Other members were so lively and walked fast. Further, they had appetite, so ate a lot. Of course I had nothing appetite.
Bosnian Muslims escaped from Bosnian Serb Army through the river in a photo. I imagine that scene. Beautiful landscape and the reality of war was so different.,,,I just stared at the river.
Today's most hard part was the UDRČ. We climbed up 1043m. I have read UDRČ had so rough and hard roads, so I was prepared. As I imagined, it was very hard ways. Near this plate, I found it out.
It's bullet. I cannot believe that still remained it after 15 years of the war....
We walked for 30 minutes, then took a rest. We could have a coffee for free! I laid down for few minutes. but it was hard to find out shade. I met foreigners. They came from the US and Canada!!
It was written the name of victims in the green room. This building was built on this year. I am sure that all names of victims were not written. I was so sorry that 3 years boy also was murdered by Bosnian Serb Army.
This building is the elementary school. Here is killing place. Bosnian Serb Army gathered Bosnian Muslims and murdered. Near this building, we found out mass grave. On the way to the sleeping point, I met Japanese man and woman! Although I was so tired and had pain on my food, I was so happy when I saw Japanese participants!! After the rest near river, my group member ate bread, but I could not. I really exhausted..
We just climbed long sloop and found out this read board. It means there are bombs around here. Here is Republica Srpska, so letter is Cyrillic. Bosnian people learn Cyrillic and Alphabet, so they can read it.
I found out the sleeping place, but my members did not stop there. Nobody told me where we were going. Suddenly we took a rest, suddenly nobody translated anything to me. It was hard for me to understand Bosnian languages. I used whole energy to catch up to my friends.
I cannot find out correct words, but there were no flat road and we just only walked up and down roads. Sometimes my friend picked up cherries or told me that duck was walking in the garden :D They supported me mentally. One of friends always carried on my backpack...so nice.
When I was in tent alone, I was a little bit emotional. I was sad when I wondered tomorrow was the last day. it is true that Bosnian people can give everything what they have to strangers....amazing...
Finally, we step on the ground of Srebrenica tomorrow....!
To be continued!
