Around 16:00, people began to gather to Nezuk. I did not expect that so much people participate in marš mira.
People of my group came many times in marš mira, so they are expert and have a lot of friends. I was supposed to sleep with my group, but some guy invited me to stay his house. He is manager of gathering place in Nezuk. I felt so bad, but my friends said no problem, so I stayed his house.
He has a lot of fruit trees. We picked up plums and peers and ate them up. His wife served delicious foods and juice. Everything is home made!!! I was really hungry, so I just ate them up :P When I was eating dinner, I met Aida. She is niece of that guy and studies math in University of Tuzla. She guided me Nezuk. We talked about a lot of stuffs.
After the dinner, her brother and his friends came his home to have a coffee. Everybody is so lively and funny guys. They called me Yoko, anyway, I do not mind. I was just so happy to meet nice people and excited to go marš mira ;)
In the morning, we ate break fast with them. After that, I went to the gathering place at Nezuk. While I was waiting for our departure, Sarajevo tv interviewed with me. Anyway, we departed at around 8:00!
I knew that Bosnia was mountainous region, but I did not expect that hard road. There were no flat way, just rough and sloping roads. Moreover, strong sunshine always glared on us.
So, one of my friends made "cap" by plants ;D He wore flip-flops! He made the same things for me later :D
During the war, this road was not good condition. Bosnian Muslims escaped from Bosnian Serb Army through that road.
Water of liiife! We could get water and bread on the way to sleeping point. Water was so warm, but I did not mind. One bottle of water saved my energy.
Masovna Grobniva means mass grave. The board tell us that there was mass grave 300m forward. From 18 June to 6 July on 2001, the research of excavating was conducted. Then researchers confirmed that Bosnian Serbs Army buried 288 dead Bosnian Muslims and re-buried at Brana Đulići. I found it out at Liplje, near the elementary school.I knew this grave when I was in Japan, because I read book about it. Until I came to Liblje, I saw 7 mass graves.
In Liplje, we took a rest. People live in here, gave us coffee for free. I did not want to have a coffee when I was so tired and it was so hot, but I followed my friends, but coffee was so goood. I felt restorative.
I do not know how many hours I walked, but I saw our goal. Do you see many tents were built? I was so happy to see it, but it was very long way to our sleeping point.
Many people slept in that kind of tents, but we did not. I was so tired, but my friends were still more energetic. We ate foods and had a drink, and took photos and talked a lot, it was very nice time for me. One of my friend asked people taking a shower for me!! I am woman, so I cannot wash myself outside. I felt bad. I wish I were man,,,
I always wondered where their kindness came from?? I was so impressed with Bosnian people.
Tomorrow we had to crime mountain, but I felt like everything will be what will be. But reality was not so easy..
To be continued!!
